Filter cartridge
The cartridge filter can be a surface filter or a depth filter.
The cartridge depth filter can be wounded, extruded.
The cartridge depth filter has a broad cut-off and is nominal.
The depth filter exists in different materials such as popypropylene, nylon, polyester, Teflon, sinterd metal, ceramic and sometime special componens are added such as Active carbon or oil absorbing polymers.
The cartridge surface filter is normally a membrane filter.
The filtration cut-off starts from 0.1micron absolute and bigger.
The membrane is available in different media such as glassfibre, polypropylene, teflon, polyethersulfon, nylon.
The cartridge has different types of fixation: DOE (Double Open End), 222- double O-ring or 226- double O-ring.
