Fundabac filter
The fundabac filter is designed by DrMuller, who developped also the Funda filter.
The Fundabac filter is an automatic selfcleaning filter with cartridges.
The filter cake can be removed dry or wet in a Fundabac filter.
De cake removal is done by a reflux of nitrogen or air.
Fundabac filters are optimal for solid concentrations till 10% and down to 2 micron particles.
In some case a filteraid of bodyfeed is used in the process.
Typical Fundabac applications are
removal of haze out of liquids
removal of catalysts such as PdC, PtC, RaNi
removal of salts or other crystals
