Automatic Disc Cleaned Filter
The filter element is cleaned by mechanical cleaning in a disc cleaned filter. A plastic of metal disc scrapes the impurities from the filter element.
The filter element is in metal and the lowest retention is 25micron.
Depending the design of the Disc Cleaned Filter the maximum dirt holding capacity is 1% removed dirt.
It is important that the impurities are not flexible and sticky.
To avoid unforeseen problems we suggest to do trials with our test equipment in a side stream or full stream.
Filtration has very good experiences with the DCF (Disc Cleaned Filter).
Filtration has following models in stock: DCF400, DCF800, DCF800-Twin, DCF1600, DCF1600-Twin.
The newest model of the DCF-serie is the MCF (Magnetically Cleaned Filter).
